So I just got an amazing deal on a new in box Icon 3 leaf progressive leaf pack with all U bolts and such. And 2 new in box Icon 2.0 rear shocks with Resi's and frame mounts for the resi's for 530.00 private sale. So I know it is kind of upscale for a Mall Krawler, but what should I go with in the front? I like the Icon coilovers but don't think I would need them for not doing any off road stuff. Soooooooooooo ideas.

    I was thinking these.

For te deal you got, just buy some icons for the front. Who cares if you're a mall crawler

ICONs are also great for mall crawling. You can ignore the speed bumps

In all seriousness, how much would you want to spend on the front?

If you're going to drop a grand on the front, might as well save a little more and get icons up front too. Just my .02$. I'd love a full icon suspension, but wifey would cut my balls off if I spent that much on "stuff I didn't need". Lol

I got my front Icons for about $950ish... That was during one of Demello's 20% off Christmas sales though. They may be able to hook you up with a good deal.

This post is from YotaDan on a different post about OME stuff. has anybody heard of a different shock location on the 2015 model?

    Hey Y'all,

As far as I understand it. The rear shock location was changed just a bit on the 2015 model. Because of that, the rear shocks have some interference between them and the axle/spring. No issues with any other components though.

Be careful with coil-overs with adjusters and steel Heim (uni-ball) joints in snow/salt/rust areas... I had Toytec & Icon. The Aluminum on Toytec collars seized and couldn't adjust the height, no problem used them 'till the 5100 blew. Next set Icons which I dissembled (new) prior to install, and reassembled with copper grease. The Heim joints I replaced (pressed) after every winter.. now with OME, never cared for height adjustments and they are tough...
You can get Icons with stainless steel Heims now, but I would still anti-seize the collars before install if you end up doing a height adjustment in the future... cheers

This is why I think the Toytec Eibach/5100 combo I showed is ideal.

I haven't yet, Brad at Icon days I have nothing to worry about. But I don't believe that, salt and such is a killer. Might just go with the already compressed Toytec/Eibach 5100 3 inch combo. But I did get an amazing deal on rear 2.0 Icon resi shocks with a 3 leaf progressive leaf pack. For a little over 500.00 shipped
