You will need less back spacing actually. Maximum is 4.75" with 17" wheels. Some people use wheel spacers to clear with factory wheels.

ok, so trying to figure the math for a budget piece by piece build. going up 6" in the front, i only need 4" in the rear it seems? or no?

fronts im going 5100s and spindles for 6". im going to listen to advice and not go giant blocks, so whats the best budget ideas to get level?

Anything over 4" you're probably looking at blocks or a super custom leaf pack All Pro expo pack will probably net 5" unloaded but settles to about 4". If you're going 6" up front, you'll probably need like a 1" block in the rear to even it up with the expo pack

I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for this, but if I wanted a little lean on my truck, should I go with a 1.5" or 1" aal with 4" spindles?

I don't want it to be ridiculous lean But just a little bit to where it is noticeable.

By lean do you mean lower or higher in the rear?
Keep in mind the rear is usually 1.5"-2" higher from the factory. So if you raise the front 4" you really only need about 2" in the rear to be level.

Oh yea, sorry, should of mentioned that. I want the rear to be a bit lower. Thanks for the info,
So I think I'm gonna go with the 1.5" in the rear and 4" in the front then, so the front will be around .5" higher.

You'll have some bro lean with a 1.5" in the back. I have 2" and sit just about level.

When I had 2" blocks I could've used longer shocks. On good dips in the road I could hear & feel the shocks top out. But with that being said I rode like that for a little over a year (not much off road) until I changed my setup.

About to pull the trigger on my maxtrac setup for my DCLB. Just wanted to run it by you guys first to make sure everything checks out. I'm going for around 6 inches of lift and already have a set of 12 inch travel 5125's laying around so I wont be needing rear shocks.

    -Maxtrac Spindles
-Front Bilstein 5100's (with stock springs preloaded to 1.75?) or OME 885 springs
-1/4 top plate spacer for drivers side lean
    -2 inch tapered rear block
    -deaver 1.5-2 inch aal
    -longer ubolts
    -extended rear brake line

What's a good company to get a CB drop kit as well as a driveshaft spacer? I believe I'll be needing a 1inch DS spacer. Any input will be greatly appreciated

This OME is a good CB spacer. I used this and made another one similar. Mine in total is about 5/8" thick. And for the driveshaft spacer 4crawler is really good. You should probably wait until you have the lift installed then measure how far out the shaft is pulled out of the tranny. Before you order the spacer MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE your bolt pattern carefully. There is only a 1mm difference between the 2 and it wont work if you get the wrong one. Theres directions on the page that tells how to measure accurately and find the correct bolt pattern(either 65x65mm or 66x66mm/ 10mm bolts or 11mm bolts)

Thanks for all the help you've provided. I'll definitely keep this in mind and refer back to this when I'm ready to order the spacer.

Do it man trust me for the price you can't beat it the install is a cake walk and you get 3.5 /4 inches of lift
I'm currently sitting at 27 1/4 inches up front from the center of my wheel to the bottom of my fender

I'm worried it'll be to much lift with the 885's on and only 265 tires.

I'm currently sitting on 265's for now and I've also got my shocks set at 2.5 so I'm sitting at about six inches so if you leave your billies at o or even .75 it probably won't look to bad
