Not sure what OS you are using, but many times systems will put hidden files in the folders, such as thumbnail indexes and the like. If you are putting the images in the folders in Windows (I'm using W7), under Tools/Folder Options, go to View and under that there is a folder icon in the list titled "Hidden Files and Folders" select "Show hidden files and folders" then scroll down and deselect "Hide protected operating system files." It wil give you a warning, but just click OK. Now look at your folders and see if anything else shows up. If it does, delete it so just your files are listed in the folder and try it again. You also might try changing the file type to all lower case. Instead of JPG, try jpg. That's all I can think of for now.

I was able to get it to work at first go on 2014 with Entune.

Image Size (dimension): This can be done easily using 'Paint' which is built into Windows. I used 1280x720 which is standard HDTV screen ratio for 720p (not 1080p or 1080i). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution

    Image Format: jpeg

File Size: I used one at 53mb and one at 143mb. Not sure if there is a file size limit or not.

Folder Names: StartupImage AND DisplayOffImage -- These need to be in the root folder (main folder of flash drive)

    USB Drive: Formatted to FAT32

Hope this helps. Also, thanks to whoever made the Back to the Future image. I extended the color and removed the lines in-between and it looks SWEET. If I could figure out how to get pix on the forum, I would upload

monkiboy, if you're still having problems, you can PM me and send me the highest resolution image you have of the image you want to use and I'll see if I can adjust it down without losing image quality. A lot of times programs will put stuff in the jpg that may cause display problems or file size problems. You should be able to use a fairly big fie. The one I have that is of my dog is 350K and it loaded and displayed fine. I'm fairly good at this stuff and might be able to help you out.

thanks sir. I saved it at 300dpi and also maintained RGB color coding instead of CMYK which reduces the file size to 150KB or less while preserving the native resolution of the screen size successfully. now it looks great, uploads fine, and most importantly worked. illustrator or PS works great for this. thanks for reaching out sir!

No problem. Glad you got it working. You could also reduce the size by reducing the dpi to 72 and keep the resolution the same.

Awesome, I finally got it working
