TRD supercharger, URD 2.85" stealth pulley, TRD exhaust, TRD intake, DTLT headers, URD y-pipe, TRD boost gauge, PLX DM100 touch with OBDII and SM-AFR modules, 885 OME 3", Icon UCAs, Satoshi grill, Solid rear window, SCS stealth 6, 285/75/17 toyo AT2.
Urd intake covers the low temperature radiator (ltr) while the actual intercooler is inside of the unit itself. Blocking it with the urd intake won't have as much of an effect as you would think. Remember, that ltr is also covering the radiator as well.

But for my suggestion, id say go with an afe intake simply because it doesn't involve cutting metal and extending wires.

Yeah im thinking that it wont have much affect either. I ran the urd in the past so metal is already cut and maf is extended too. So im covered there. Lol.
On another note: The urd tcai is on sale and it includes a maf extender free now.

I had similar issue placing the maf, i used some left over rtv to make a gasket on my last one. It was a pain in the ass to get it to sit flat.
I bought my last one used and figured i just didn't get the gasket, surprised it doesn't come with one.

Toyota El Cajon was going to do it, until they did a bait and switch and added $600.00 in labor because they have to mess with the fuel lines.

Well yes it is a good price if you compare what some are asking, but for what you gain it is a terrible price. Just difficult to justify. Also keep in mind that you have to run premium gas with the SC, but in the end it is your nickel.

Listen carefully...... U can hear a whistle other than the supercharger. That's where the intake leak is letting air past the maf sensor. You gotta turnnur speakers up.
Listen as I let OFF the gas and level out, that's part of the time it whistles.... It will also do it for quite a ways as I'm following that truck in one of the last clips.

I made sure to include some video of the supercharger making its normal noise (whine not whistle) as a comparison.

Maybe I'm just too in tune with my truck

My ear just isn't used to supercharger sounds. Lol.

No such thing as too in tune with sounds.

so I need to find a different shop to do the install as El Cajon tried a bait and jack up the price when I got there.

On another note I ordered the Afe stage intake.

Not really sure how or why you can say this. You get a 30% increase in HP(68) and a 25% increase in torque(68 again). That's approx. $79.41/HP and ft.lb of torque. Both the parts price and the install price are well within the norms. And Toyota will warranty the product for the remainder of your powertrain warranty. Pretty much all superchargers, and turbos for that matter, require premium gasoline. Even some naturally aspirated engines require premium fuel due to high compression ratios to eek out that last bit of power.

Here's a quick google search for corvette superchargers.

    https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=corvette+supercharger

First up is the Edelbrock e-force.

    https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=corvette+supercharger

You get a claimed 554 HP. That's 104 more HP than stock or 22%. The kit is $7625 plus install. Estimate $1000 on the low side and you get $82.93/HP NON factory warrantied power.

    Toyota tacoma factory HP rating.

    TRD SUPERCHARGER
    PTR29-35090

    SUGGESTED PRICE: $4140.00
    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Features air-to-liquid intercooler with a low-temperature radiator, coolant reservoir and circulation pump, delivering improved engine response and power output.
Intercooler provides higher performance and better fuel economy, as well as improved passing power than non-intercooled superchargers, restoring sea level performance when at altitude.
    Produces 304 hp @ 5,400 rpm and 334 lb.-ft. torque @ 3,600 rpm (from 239 hp @ 5200 rpm; 278 lb.-ft. @ 3700 rpm.
Uses Eaton Roots-type rotating components in a compact one-piece, supercharger plenum/manifold casting that integrates the heat exchanger core for the intercooler.
Integral by-pass valve prevents supercharger from going into “boost” when driving at a steady state of speed such as on the highway or light traffic. Takes less than ½ hp to operate when by-pass valve is open, helping reduce parasitic drag from the crankshaft.
Kit includes new 455cc fuel injectors for the increased power output, iridium spark plugs for better detonation resistance—ensuring proper fuel delivery when using supercharger system at full capacity.
Integrates factory calibration of ECU for optimal fuel mileage when combined with torque/horsepower increase.
All OE hose connections accommodated and OE throttle body bolts to original location.
Complete kit includes all necessary hardware for “factory installed” appearance. No cutting, welding or fabrication required for installation.
Supercharger has self-contained lubrication, so there’s no maintenance required on supercharger—or supercharger system components.
Emissions legal in all 50 states

You only get 1 year warranty if not installed by Toyota. So add about $1000 to that. If you do it yourself you might have to pay for the ECU flash, I heard it could be free if you're lucky.

Most dealers start at $4500 and up at least was like that for me, I got them down to $4700, out the door installed $5900 and change. Don't forget sales tax, at 8.25% it's a couple $100 easy.

TRD of Dallas is the cheapest. Fit kit and SC, free shipping.

COMPLETE KIT! TRD Supercharger TACOMA 4.0L V6

Verify the OE calibration before installing the supercharger kit.** AVAILABLE FOR THE 2005-2015
    PTR29-35090 main unit and
    PTR29-35120 the installation kit
