At least I can do my own alignments at home. been using the jberry method with a few minor tweaks that have worked better for me. I hope to get a few steering turntables to make the job even easier come time for the new upper install. With that said, if anybody reading this sees a set or has a set for sale let me know! They look like this:

Marc, any issues with DK LCAs in the rocks? Have they taken any hard hits yet? Just ordered a set and wondering if I should make some skids for em?

I ask b/c TC makes them for theirs, but that is the general impression I am getting, not needed.

They make skids for their boxed lowers?? Interesting..and odd.

I could see somehow applying like..1/8" of UHMW maybe. But otherwise I don't see the point.

Good deal, excited to beat on them. Did they change your droop/bump travel at all?

The stockers have them built in, LT are bolt on AL.

Yea I gained some droop, my upper arm uniball is now my limiting point... my coilover droops out almost at the same time but not quite. I may end up strapping this summer just to be safe. The Derlin bushings are stiff, you'll notice tighter steering feel and braking feel, it's nice but takes a bit to adjust to. Also the stiff bushing is more prone to having it's way with your alignment... it's why Im solid mounting my lowers and putting a hiemed upper on once the weather is nice.

Just re-read your plans/thoughts on solid mount, are you really having that much trouble keeping them aligned? I just replaced one of my LCA tabs and reinforced the rest laying a bead behind them last night, I was thinking about tacking the cams in place, have you tried that yet?

Also, what are your thoughts on the Superbumps with the DKs? I mainly do crawly terrain, where I would want to staticly compress as mush as possible, seems the Superbumps are more akin to hydo/air bumps for high speed hits rather than crawling terrain where they may limit static stuffage. Could you trim them to reduce the engagement point, or would that reduce the compressed height and then need to space them out further and be back where you started?
