My horn has become extremely sensitive and turns on its own sometimes. (yes im driving down the street and it just starts blaring lol if i push it enough times or with the right pressure it will stop) I dont know if i hit it too hard in the past or what. Anyone else have this issue? is it a simple diy fix or do i need to go to the dealer$$$?

Check the horn relay in the fuse box under the hood. They are cheap.

The second thing may be the electrical contacts in the steering wheel. Those are the most common issue with horns.

The horn uses a relay in the fuse box. Take the cover off the fuse box and look at the map of fuses and relays. There shood be a relay for the horn clearly labelled. Pull and reinstall the relay and push it in good and hard. Oh and you will need some plyers to pull the relay, they pull out real hard...unless you ahve very strong fingers.

Look for any corrosion on the contacts of the relay.

The horn steering wheel contacts are under the air bag. I really dont think you should be messing with that if you are not familiar with them.

It could also be a short circuit in the clockspring. I'd check if it's one of the ones recalled, if you haven't been down that path already.

They must be horny ghosts.

Maybe if you "blew" them, you'd make them happy and they would go away?

On a side note...would you consider your horn a racist if it goes "honky honky"?
