    Putting a longer spring on it will raise up the nose, but it will kill down travel. Need to look into other options like LT or SAS. :D

    A 16" will be preloaded by 2" to squeeze it onto a 2nd gen ext travel king... you can fit a 14" on there without preloading it or at least not much.

    I'm not sure if they come with a 12 or 14. Icons comes with 13's IIRC.

    That will happen one day, but I'd like to have an in between solution for now.


    Yeah, the 16 won't work. That would mean no down travel. I'll see what the spring is right now and go from there.

    The advantage to a longer spring spring is to try to eliminate the preload you have with a shorter spring. Typically people go from a 12"×600 to a 14"x700 and they have less preload on the shock and get a smoother ride.
