For the 2015 season, I predict that...

...Tony Romo will be abducted by Environmental Fundamentalists and turned into a tree. His replacement won't throw interceptions, Dez Bryant will become both quarterback and wide receiver at the same time, and the Cowboys will go undefeated. Dez will then wake up.

...Aaron Rodgers will double-check one too many discounts, go Hollywood, and turn Green Bay over to the North American Cheese Council. The NACC will install Sven Ulrichsson as QB, and they'll go a dismal 2-14.

...Tom Brady will fail a drug test; there will be too much Rogaine in his system, and it will be labeled a performance-enhancing drug. Giselle will leave him for Johnny Football.

...Andy Dalton will finally figure out how to win a post-season game, and then promptly be deported to Ireland when Congress outlaws Gingers.

...Michael Earvin will be fired from his position at the NFL Network from soliciting Warren Sapp for prostitution.

...Philip River's mother will finally vote him as family MVP, and will consider San Diego to be a legitimate contender. Unfortunately, it will be short lived when the entire team succumbs to the zombie virus during a game with the Oakland Raiders. Oakland, on the other hand, will completely devour San Francisco and Tampa Bay before being killed by Brad Pitt. (inspired by Shelf Life)

...Tony Dungy will indeed be proven to be an alien, and during attempts to deport him the government will unleash an interstellar conflict. Fortunately, the invaders will fight with us against Tony and he will be defeated once and for all. (Shelf Life)

...Andrew Luck will hide his ancestry as a GEICO cavemen by shaving. His completion rate will suddenly increase because he's not distracted by his own hair battling for space in his facemask. (Noelie84)

...lastly, Roger Goodell will be removed from his post after claiming he was beaten mercilessly by his wife for failing to leave the seat down, when in truth it is discovered he was secretly deflating footballs in New England.

I think a hawks dynasty can be a definite possibility, if they can get Wilson to settle down and play consistently for the full 60 minutes. From the games that I've watched him in this year (which wasn't many, since I'm on the opposite coast and don't have a cable) he seemed like he had hot streaks and cold streaks. One minute he was firing bullets and long bombs in a nice tight spiral directly into the receiver's hands, and the next possession he'd come out and throw three wobblers to an empty piece of field.
Kid seems like he's got an awesome reserve of talent, but seems like he has a hard time focusing or channeling it sometimes.

I think for next year, Goodell and the NFL need some kind of restructuring of power. I thought they talked about having some kind of committee to help with discipline, idk where that convo went, but it's definitely necessary.

Don't forget that Andrew Luck will de-caveman his face and his completion rate will suddenly increase because he's not distracted by his own hair battling for space in his facemask.

I know they will sign Wagner and Wilson, I think they think Maxwell is expendable. That might be in a little more question now that Lane is injured, how will he heal up. They are really high on Simon for corner as well, he's being mentored by Sherman (and Browner) as he is built similar to both of them. He's had ups and down.. obviously edelman burnt him a few times but that's to be expected. He shouldn't have been on him.

They need some D line help and O line depth. They're high on some backups ie: Alvin Bailey-T/G, Coyle-LB, Simon-CB, Schofield-DE and Turbin-RB but they need to restock in this draft. Last year was a bit slim due to paying for Percy.

Sherman and Fitzgerald are tight, lots of rumors swirling that he would like to come to Seattle. One of our biggest areas of need is for a big possession receiver. Matthews is raw, maybe he can turn into something.

Overall disappointed but really excited still, the team is extremely young and the future is very bright.

I think you guys must be feeling similar to how we felt when we lost at the goal line vs. the Ravens the year before you guys won the SB :(

    On the Wilson note..

I was surprised when I saw a side by side comparison of his and Brady's first three years. Just like our WR's Wilson is asked to play a role. Anyone who watched him in college knows the kid can air it out... the Seahawks just ask him not to. When they let the reigns off the kid lights it up.

    First 3 years:

Player Record Yards TD INT Comp%
    Tom Brady 34-12 10,227 69 38 61.91%
    Russell Wilson 36-12 9,950 72 26 63.42%

Wilson also grades better in metrics which shocked me. https://www.numberfire.com/nfl/news/4253/tom-brady-vs-russell-wilson-comparing-the-first-3-years#

I think as he matures and the Seahawks change, Lynch retiring etc. The philosophy will change and you could end up seeing Wilson being a more Brees like QB with added mobility.

Yes, minus the front office noise. I can't imagine right now with rumors of Carroll and Schneider having a power struggle or arguing. Instead, they're best friends... and go on vacation together with their wives.

Especially love the Geico. I had very long hair a few years ago and was called both Capt Caveman and Geico in the dart world..still am by some.

I think Goodell needs to keep business business. Right or wrong, Sherman (I think) had a point that him hobnobbing at Kraft's home may not look good.

For sure. If he can keep a solid pocket for the next couple of years he's got potential to set some records.

Fitzgerald could be a great mentor for the young receivers. He could bring value on the field in more ways than one. I would like to see that happen.

So you think he called the play intending to make the mistake?

LOL I'm talking about right after the Super Bowl. There wasn't any front office rift at that time. I'm talking about instead of running (albeit with Gore or Kaep) they pass it on the goal line at the end of the game

But I get it, any time you can shit on the Niners and boast your own, you will :p
