When you live in TX all snow is fun. However, on Saturday there was a nice layer of crust that didn't make me happy because it was on top of some rather creamy snow. Just had to alter my technique and not get to abrupt.

I did hit 55 mph twice on the gulch at the end of the day on Friday. SkiTracks app is pretty handy. Foggy goggles, wind, sleet, and 55. It made me laugh.

Hmm, when I bought it I knew that. I never got any moisture on me through the jacket. It's a Patagonia H2NO fabric...I think there's a couple of layers in there.

still got to get a heat shield on it, though. It's a little too close to the transfer case actuator.

Well, I would, but I have this air-on-board switch that I'd rather use for it. And to be even more of a PITA, I was hoping to have my high beams activate the light bar when the air-on-board switch is on. And only high beams when the AOB switch is off. Here's the schematic that came with the switch:

It was an eBay purchase. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-Taco...fits=Model:Tacoma&hash=item43c519eb6a&vxp=mtr

I was, however, able to get the bar mounted since the rigid industries mounts arrived today. It's tight, but it's in there.

And I also replaced the stock reverse bulbs with these today.

I can tell they will be quite a bit brighter.

I did the same thing with the reverse light and I have had no issues with it. It is great when you are backing up in the dark cause you can actually see where you are going.

Yup, me too. Works great. Just wondering when I get the same reaction from the ladies that DarkFader gets.

That keeps cracking me up...I think he's going for Best Sig of 2015.

I'm pretty excited about it. I read the other thread on it and went with the 35 watt bulbs from lowes that did not require any type of modification. It was totally plug and play for these with the exception of just tightening up the contacts in the socket slightly.

It's an AVEC bar. Definitely a tight fit. I had to trim a little bit out of the sides of the valence but you really can't tell until you get down there and look really close. I'm happy with the install.
