    I have quite a few rifles, and inherited a few more with the passing of my grandfather. Right now I am itching to shoot my Browning BAR .300 Win Mag rifle, but I might just use a 30-06 or .270

    Yeah, luckily it doesn't take me more than 10 shots to be comfortable with my grouping and know that it will do the job. I am leaning towards the .270 because I don't want to ruin too much of the animal if I don't have a money shot.

    At the end of the day, I want meat to fill the freezer, and you can't eat antlers. :cool:

    On the contrary, the 300WM will do the job quickly regardless, and I might not have to track if my elk takes off haha.
