    I didn't check mine.

    Maybe because LEDs draw less power than the glass bulbs it's stored up and they don't shut off as fast? My daughter has a LED nightlight and I'll unplug it every morning and throw it on floor/dresser and it will remain partially lit for 5-10 mins.

    Good point, it may be a voltage leak in his dome circuit. Put a meter across the contacts and see if the voltage drops to 0 when the doors are closed. If it's trickling voltage then you may have an electrical issue. The LED is just identifying the issue since it requires less voltage to illuminate.

    Finally got the red 168 LEds and installed them in the 3rd brake light.

    White LEDs were too bright and appear pink through lens

    Hard to tell in the pic, but the light is a true red now
