Trying to get into the oilfield work right now but oil prices plummeting are fucking the work and economy right now...

All 3 worked for the same company. All 3 got told the same thing when they got cut.

When oil prices go back up, you will be the first one I call... Lol

 

Some places used that to clean house of the workers they wanted to get rid of.

Others were just caught in the wake of a budget crunch. I think my friend is losing 12-15 people from his company tomorrow.

Just cause the prices go down doesn't justify getting rid of people. They need to cut costs to higher ups that receive the stupid bonuses instead of getting rid of good workers.
