What can I say I always need to be doing something to my truck. I recently have been considering wheel spacers as some of you may know, but now I am not so sure. I have about $300 available for petty cash and am looking to do something to the truck.....again. Would like to do something to add to the capability of the truck for offroad use rather than adding something that is cosmetic only (except maybe a Grillecraft MX insert:D). So let's hear the ideas. YOU can help with my build!!!! I know that last sentence was cheesy as hell:cool:

Ask visa or my wife. They both constantly remind me how much I've got left to spend.
It depends on what part of "add to the capability" you wanted really. Most of the mods that could be done for about $300 would be a CAI for increased horsepower or for a bit more maybe a cat back exhaust. You have the tires and suspension covered as well as trail armor so unless you want to spend some real cash for an all pro front bumper your good to go.

I considered a CAI, but they don't really add power until the upper RPM level from what I was reading. Correct?

    Satoshi, or color matched grille!

Edit: Not much for capability, but does look sick.

I have thought about doing a Satoshi, but not sure if I can do it. I am not sure about my skills. I have thought about doing a GrilleCraft grille though. I wonder which would cost less, the Satoshi or the GrilleCraft?

    1. Front Wheel Spacers
    2. Grillecraft MX Grille Insert
    3. Wheelers Offroad 3 Leaf Progressive AAL (to replace my single AAL)
    4. All Pro Front IFS Skid Plate

Correct. Not too mention the loss of tourqe at the lower RPM levels. Sounds nice though.

The only time a cai would be beneficial for the taco's 4.0L is if you have a blower on it.

Still trying to decide my next mod/upgrade. I sold my KC light bar and 4 Hella 500's and have about $600 available. Considering the following:

    1. N-fab light bar and 4 Hella 700FF lights
    2. Grillecraft MX insert
    3. All-Pro IFS and transmission skid plates
    4. Wheel Spacers
    5. Upgrade stereo deck
    6. Wheelers Off-road 3 leaf progressive AAL (replace my single AAL)
    7 ? (other)
