lol I put my head in my hands, got angry, sad, frustrated... has to be a dream right? Then, I went home and explained to my crying 6 year old why the Seahawks lost. The 4 year old doesn't really care.. he just keeps yelling "SEA" and hoping to get a few "HAWKS" in return. That can be really annoying right after a gut wrenching loss.

The worst part is listening to some of the idiot fans who are clueless and looking for someone or something to be angry at. Some of the stupid shit that you hear people say..People coming up to me wanting to talk to me about the game while I'm getting some fresh air outside. Get the fuck away from me! I turn on the bandwagon fans, every team has them you know it... the guy who tells me that Robert Lockette needed to catch the ball. Walk away sir, walk away.

I'm not an external display guy, I'm a quiet internal thinker. Until you put a keyboard in front of me.

But two days later I'm excited for the opportunities ahead. Young team with excellent leadership. Most of the contributing players on this team are 2-4 year guys. Imagine 2-3 years from now if they keep it together.. This team will be loaded with 26-30 year old players in their prime. It's already one of the smartest teams around.

No, i think it was a simple case of very poor judgement givin the circumstance. He had a lot of other options availible and if he did make that call, he should "own" the mistake.

 

I'm not a parent, and I have to imagine that was the tough part of it for anyone who is a parent following a loss in the big game.

My 11 yr old nephew has seen all 4 of the Boston teams win it in his short life and it's hard to explain to him it wasn't always like this here..

Re fair weather fans: An old friend of mine was the biggest Bruins fan you'd ever meet. She had seasons for many years and knew the game like nobody I've ever met. The 2 of us went to a concert and some random guy started talking to her about hockey who obviously knew little about it..and she ripped him to shreds. I don't know if he was more flabbergasted about being taken down or that it was by a female..haha

While I guess one can say Lockette has to make that catch, he got nailed by Butler pretty hard too. Can't fault him for it.

Your last part hit it..this Seahawk team is the real for some time to come as it sits today. You're very rich in backup talent as well..not easy to replace Lynch if he leaves but you've got Turbin and Michael waiting in the wings for instance..

Much as I think both teams can get back to the Super Bowl next year, I see you having the better chance at it more often in the near future. I fear after Brady retires we in NE may be in for some rough times.

Hopefully they can repair Sherman's tendons effectively. Can't imagine that the Hawks will spare any expense to get his arm back to 100%

Gronk- Super competitive onfield, Ginormous goofball off the field. Essentially a light-hearted frat boy built on 11/10's scale.

Edelman- Super competitive onfield, very active social media whore off the field. Built on a 7/10th's scale.

Gronk got shoved back into the end zone with an illegal hands to the face. Ryan Wendell gets shoved past him (after the play has been whistled dead) and he open-hand slaps the back of a helmet (not a punch). Irvin then throws a sucker punch and runs in the other direction. Watch the replay.

 

I have, many times, lol. You do realize Gronk admits to throwing the first punch right? Sure there is some pushing and shoving, there's always pushing and shoving.
