aw the rubicon, great memories out there. I grew up in Tahoe and that place can sure lead to poor financial decisions. I'm afraid what it would convince me to do to the taco... I admit, my jeep days were weird, but my beetle days were even weirder.

 

Supposedly there are seperate parts at the hard sections which is how they took a stock rubicon through it. So I bet a medium built taco with sliders could do it?

 

a stock rubicon has sliders, skidplates, 4 linked axles, AND lockers.... big difference over us. I've heard that everything has a bypass. I wouldn't do rubicon without sliders/skids and a HC rear would be preferred.

we are supposed to have about 8-10 cans go to the T6 section everyday...some days we have to go drop cans and pay a "rental" fee so we dont have to bring the cans back down south.

Those SOB union bitches need to get there shit together. They cost us money just like everyone else, but its getting ridiculous.

Haha!! not me I work on the 787 in Everett. I bet the defense side of Boeing can be a bitch to work with. They are building the tanker in the same factory I work at, I'm not allowed in there though.

If she's looking for real men they work in the factory, but all the pretty people work in the twin tower buildings right next to us. What does she do?

 

She's a jr producer on a lot of projects around the city.

We come up that way on occasion to come see some stuff. But we finally have one down here. I might be up there this week depending if they want me to go/are actually going to do the install I want to watch.

 

Right on. maybe ill get my cert training and get access to the tanker and come check it out too.

 

I work in the same office as the 787 field techs at BFI. Some are decent, others are dicks.

The tanker looks pretty good. But that is coming from a guy who worked on 1950/60s aircraft until 2 years ago.

 

Sounds about right haha. Right now im working on solving the age old question of "why does it take so long to seal the fuel tanks on a 787"
