Your wish is my command. I finally got around to starting the audio tonight. Took some measurements from the stock Entune with nav (no JBL). No clipping at max volume at all, and a nice full signal to boot

Well that's better than I had expected. Good to know.

I'd still take the digital optical signal from an iPad over it though. For a high end setup with such nice amps and drivers, it would really do it justice.

Glad you are putting up with the BS and still posting as you are doing some cool stuff! Quick electronics question for you....do you know if the USB port supplied on the Pro's lacks the charging feature? Did a run to get my shell today and about an hour from home the Ipod quit! Dead as a door nail! Got home, it is fine, just no battery left.

I can't wait to see the audio set up. Though, I'm sure it'll be way out of my price range or even my scope of understanding. But I love seeing clean/factory appearing installs.

There's nothing special about the USB port on a Pro. My iPod nano charges fine off of the USB port. I'd try a different cable and a different device to try to narrow down the problem. __________________

Thanks....I didn't figure the USB Port was different in the Pro from any other Taco, just know that some vehicles come with a data only port that does not have the charging feature....figured with as much stuff as Toyota omits that maybe they supplied a "Data Only" port in the Taco's.....I'll try another cable and see what happens...Thanks for the input.

At least the haters are now self identifying... Murica, do you really feel the need to anonymously tell the world that you would spend 6k differently. Wow, are you one of those people who photographs their meals and posts those on facebook too?

on another note - "friggin TACO" = AWESOME

OP - I like the truck and you should spend your cash on whatever you want. I'm enjoying your build.

I have posted in here twice, making this the third post...all posts have been related to OP's build. Here is the last, and final warning before discipline action is taken
If you don't have something positive to say, and want to bash the OP, decide how he should have spent the money then please see your way out.

We don't care if OP wants to spend $10k on the clear bra. It's his money- not yours.

Kidding, OP, Do what makes you happy. Your mods are way out of my budget, but so are a lot of trucks. I'm sure it will be really nice when you get it finished.
