the clips are attached to the strip. they slide/clip into the roofs drip molding. whenever you get yours, be sure to really seal the short portion that curves around to the back side of the cab. Mine isnt fully seated, and I'm pretty sure I have a small leak from that area. my back passenger seat and headrest was wet when it was raining a couple days ago. I plan on epoxying it down, and slathering some silicone around it.

Don't go with the DSM UCAs as mine won't align/play well with my MT Spindles ! !

Just left Oasis Auto ( next door to SDHQ ) and found out I need the TC or Icon UCAs in order me for to align. Been there since 9:30 this morning and just left. Those guys did all they could and in the end didn't even charge me for the work ! !

Just got off the horn with DSM ( who were extremely helpful btw ) and was informed that they have found that their boxed UCA isn't optimal with the MT Spindles as well. As in, it will work with some trucks but not all.

Lesson learned, great products both of them, just that the geometries aren't compatible when used in conjunction with each other . . .
