I ran the 2.25" poly day star spacers. For me it was not an enjoyable ride, had 0 Down travel and put stress on my weak ass stock balljoint. to each its own though.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
My 2008 sr5 4banger sagged more on the springs, still had some down travel. I did break some things on that truck, not the ball joints or strut however.

were they the Poly Daystars that go in the spring area? I have never tried those.

I would suggest them, as a trial for the height and concept test if its your first time around. May as well buy the cheapest ones there are.. They will get replaced if you are serious!

I do think the Leveling version is better than the 3" lift version in the end if you want to go that way. I probably just got lucky with my 2008, after seeing other with problems I would not recommend any rough use of them.

I had the strut spacer ones. But personally I would not suggest spacers to anyone. unless you want a mall crawler with the ride of a HMMWV

You need a sway bar relocation bracket on 2011+, and possibly UCA's like LR UCA's.

I took my wife out in my truck the other night for dinner and a movie.... it was awesome!

When I got home I found the set of Icon 2.5 coil overs that I bought for my truck delivered to my porch. The truck has been trying to have sex with me ever since....

What should I do, Dr. Phil?

Should I install them... or walk away?

You got me down at #22 and #30, but I deserve it. I bought consecutive spacer lifts. (2.25" & 3")

I think that I am gonna take one of my sets and build a fucking trophy for the winner.

What I don't get is why spacers make the ride so harsh on Tacomas...they've been out for decades for Jeeps, I've run several Jeeps personally with spacer lifts, and never could tell a difference in the ride with a spacer lift. Didn't keep them, but didn't change them because of a harsh ride. What's the reason it's that way on a Tacoma?

Unfortunately I started with spacers and still run them. Had I done more research on TW before hand it would have never happened!
