    Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
    Either routing it back or front will be better than the stock location with no liners. Do whatever works best for you but if you are planning to do a snorkel it doesn't make a ton of sense to put a big ass hole in the void that is protecting the cabin air filter from that crap under your hood...

    After I removed the fender liner, I just didn't trust the exposure of the intake opening. Since its been off, I've been on my buddies property where he is building a new house, no serious mudding or anything, but there was big clumps of mud in the opening. So I'm glad I disconnected it. Even just with rain, I know my tires throw a lot of water, and I just did not want to take a chance of getting too much water in there. I've been kind of waiting to see more pics of the new Safari snorkels. As of the few I've seen, I'm leaning towards the hilux one, but I'd like to see more of the new one before I make a final decision.

    I'd check it haha. I wouldn't worry a whole lot though. Just replace the liner or get a snorkel.

    Yeah I'm definitely going with a snorkel. I change the air filter every oil change just because I'm constantly exposing it to dust and what not off road.

    Has anyone found a wheel with a 3.75 or 3.50 BS. I'm getting ready to order my 315s as soon as my tax return comes it. The wheels I have are 4.5 BS and I'm afraid that won't be enough

    It won't be. I have 4.5 and I was in the uca real bad. So 1.25 spacers it was.

    If you're looking for a 17 you're out of luck. Well, that's what I found at least. The only 17's with that low of back spacing are bead locks. I went with Konig Countersteer Type X wheels. They have a 4.1" back spacing.

    Looking for 16s. I should have mentioned that, I'm sorry. Gonna try the Maxxis Bighorn 315/75/16s. I'm on my second set of their 255s and I've been happy with them.
