So a team that always seems to be in a funk till playoffs and a team that just locked up two guys for more than a quarter of there payroll are going to become dynasties soon. Sure, I believe that 100%

Yup, when I was in California everyone seemed to be talking about hockey. The most trusted source for judging a hockey town is ESPN LA .

No offense, but hockey is barely on the radar to most people from my personal experience when I last visited California. Hell, I could of bought tickets to either a Kings, Sharks, or Ducks game for a fifth of what a ticket costs up here because so many are up for sale on stubhub. Most people on the street don't care, they'd rather have Lakers tickets over anything else. I'm sure the kings fan base is passionate, but it's not like up north here where even non fans can name most of the local team and know which teams they hate.

Yeah I'm not sure what his point was there either...

And... I'm not saying LA ain't a good team but to call them a dynasty is going to far. I don't count any of the teams you mentioned as dynasties either. IMHO there hasn't been a dynasty team around since the 1980's. LA might trade right away, I mean hell they took a gamble on Gaborik and that worked out pretty well last year.
