This is really pissing me off, the rattle is coming from the drivers side seat belt housing adjustment. It's not very loud but annoying. Anyone have this issue or a fix? BTW its a 2010...

I would bring it back to the dealer...I bought my truck 1 yr old used and the rear view mirror rattled. I brought it in, and they slapped a new one on while I waited. No more rattles!:)

Have you taken it in yet to the dealership? I bet they can take that apart for you and see what is going on, I'm not sure if a annoying sound will qualify as a warranty issue but I'm sure it will be covered. But If the rattle/sound is coming from the seat belt housing then it could be a safety issue and it should be covered under warranty.

But I hope you or they find out what it is and fix it.

I had that problem. I just shoved the adjustment all the way to the top or the bottom and it usually goes away. :)

YES!!! it's pissing me off...it's just enough to know it's there. I've tried hitting it with my hand and sliding it up all the way and down all the way. Nothing works. Guess it's back to the stealership...

    thanks fellas

We, my wife and I, are shorter folks and ours are all the way down. Only the drivers side does it.

I have the same problem. I lock up the seat belt even though no one is in the passenger seat and it seems to stop. Make sure your noise isn't coming from the rear shoulder belt - there are clips to hold them and stop the noise. Just no clips for the front.

I have the same problem with my 2005, a spring in the mechanism rattles, very annoying considering it is right next to your ear.

Drives me carzy too. I also have a 2012. I get the very quiet noise from the B-pillar near ear level on the drivers side. And, I get a vibration in the drivers dooor when the stereo hits certain bass frequencies. Both sounds are driving me crazy.

I'm here for knowledge folks, please feel free to inform me. Expedition Essentials Track Mount Weather Tech floor liners and window vents K&N air filter Summit Dakars in Matte Bronze -25 offset King suspension from Filthy Motorsports MESO customs white/red interior lights and MESO customs gasshole
Still nothing?! I was really hoping to find the solution here. Like where to shove a folded up piece of paper in between two places or something..

I have an '08 access cab and that noise right in my ear is about to drive me nuts.
