    She's gonna be badass...I have always wished I could have got a limited because of the color matched bumpers....guess it doesn't matter once you go aftermarket bumpers huh? lol...the bumpers from your old truck wouldn't fit this one?

    I love the color matched man. Yea they would have fit on this truck. Wish I could have kept them but I got a lot for that old truck lol

    Just look at the build thread
    I know the frame length changed in 98. Some aftermarket bumpers won't fit between the two without extending or shortening the frame. So you may have had to extend the frame on the new truck 2" in order to fit your old front bumper.

    The front bumper on my last truck came from relentless which was built for the 01-04 tacomas. The same bumper goes on 95-04 tacomas, but the 98-00 have to cut some of the frame I believe

    Right. It just depends which model the bumper was made for. If it was designed around the later models, the earlier ones will have to trim their frame to fit. If it was designed around the earlier models, the later ones will have to extend their frame.

    95-97 and 01-04s are EXACTLY THE SAME.

    Only 98-00 have different front end frame horns that are 3" longer.

    That's it for frame differences.
