How often do you see another Blue Ribbon Tacoma in your area? I have only seen one. Even on this site they seem to be scarce.
I have had a lot of people of all ages comment on the color and say they have not seen a Tacoma in that color. Is it that rare??

I don't know how rare they are, but I do not see the color often.

I've seen one other, what I think was, a blue ribbon metallic in town since I bought mine, and saw a grand total of one the 9 months I was pondering the purchase. the recent sighting was just before dawn and the truck was fairly dirty, but didn't look like any of the other blues to me, so can only guess by elimination.

Ya'll with the sport trucks have me thinking about going with the color matched front grill, but have other additions I would rather spend the $$ on first.

I started talking to the dealer just after the factory stopped taking special orders so the dealer had to find one already configured the way I wanted. When the sales guy took my preferences he didn't think it would be hard to do.

It turned out "TRD Sport" is the 2nd rarest model (Limited is rarest), the BRM is the rarest color, and the Nav radio that I had to have was the rarest option. I took them almost 3 months to find one for me.

About a month ago my local dealer (55 miles away) had a DC OR on the lot, only other one I've seen. I've also only ever seen 1 Spruce Mica in person, soooo... :notsure:. Most common I see is white, then silver, then red.

I tried to get a blue ribbon but one dealership told me they were back ordered and it would be 4-6 weeks and another dealership found one in Georgia, but that dealership would not come off it.

I never see any blue ribbons around here. I ended up getting a Magnetic Gray.

That's hard to believe. For every 1 TRD O/R at the dealers around here, there are 4-5 TRD Sports.

I think that whatever the current customer is looking for tends to be the "rarest".

When I was there in Aug, apparently TRD-OR Access Cab v6 w/ tow pkg and Entune Plus (no nav) was the "rarest" in this part of the country.

I know the BRM TRD Sport is super rare around here. The Georgia dealer told me he thought he had the only one available in the southeast and from what I've seen in Alabama, I believe him.

I work for a Toyota dealership in Mobile. We have had 3 BRM Tacomas for 2014 and 2015, one of which is mine. They seem to be pretty scarce.

Hmm. My unofficial on road observation is that TRD Offroad is by far the most common, at least around here.

And, yes, white, then grey, and black are the most common colors, with white something like 7 out of every 10.

That sounds accurate. At our dealership I would say there are 5 or 6 TRD ORs to every TRD Sport.

We rarely get BRM Tacomas, but just as I'm sitting here this BRM just rolled in on the 18-wheeler. It's a BRM Limited.

If anyone knows anyone looking, this truck is in Mobile, AL.
