Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh no, couldn't get myself to spend that kind of money on 20.00 to 30.00 worth of plastic.

Yeah, I gave up on this a while ago. Wholesale pricing puts it at about $390-400. I'm just gonna make a Satoshi / Raptor style grill using my 3d printer to make the side profiles. It's gonna look waaaay better than that pro grill.

Exactly what I did, at least you can use different types of mesh and emblems. And like you said cheaper and it looks a lot better

No I had Stealth Taco build mine. Cost me 320.00 shipped. And I just put aBAMF light bar behind it today with Hella 500's

I mean I understand why people like it, looks really cool. But realistically you don't have a TRD Pro, and a seriously overpriced plastic insert isn't going to make it one. Some will say that everyone has a Satoshi, or mesh grille. While that might be true, at least they can be modified and tailored to people's needs.

I personally don't even like the way that the pro grill looks. It just looks like a half-assed redesign. Only reason I was looking to buy one was to chop it up and use it for a satoshi style grill since the side profiles are mostly present unlike the standard model 2012-2015 grill.

Well technically you could get a TRD Pro grill, cut it up and make a satoshi therefore it is customizable.

Seriously though, few things have crossed my mind for my Trd Pro grill, paint the letters, cut/remove letters out and have a custom TRD emblem placed in there, or cut the letters out, put a lightbar in there... its just a matter of imagination....

If anyone with a SuperWhite is upgrading to the TRD Pro grill, can I buy your old one?

So you would spend 400+ on 20.00 worth of plastic to hack it up? Guess that would be like putting new chrome rims on and Plasti dipping them black.

I was being sarcastic, but the matter the fact is yes, someone could buy it and hack it up if they wanted to, therefore tailored to their needs.... well actually not really needs as you said, I think you meant taste, yes taste.. to their taste. You modified your stock grill to your taste, others got a different grill that suits better their taste. What's wrong with that?

Yes we all know its $20 of plastic would it make you feel better if it was made out of carbon steel?

It's actually only about $10 in plastic...

Based on current price per pound of high impact strength ABS plastic x weight of the grill.

so I bought one from my local dealership that I deal with, they said that the grille was on back order.

who else has purchased this from a dealership, what were the results? i know they're available online, but I got a better deal since I work for a honda dealership.

*update: had to provide a vin as others did in order to make the order go through.

was $435 for the grill and the surround, since you have the chrome like I do - or did you just get it painted?

Which dealer did you go to? - Huntersville?

it's only the insert, it does not come with the painted /or chrome bezel. you re-use your original bezel off your grille. $435 is not employee, sorry to say.
