The RS is going to be a great car I think, excited to see how it stacks up against the go to cars in it's class! Looks like the team really tried to put out a good car drivetrain wise. But all we've got to go on is words... and a short video of it doing a sweet lil donut

So came back from the school and someone had a fire tonight in the park next to my house. The fire ring is literally 10' from my driveway. Well....no one was there. They just left a roaring fire!!

So...I stood an enjoyed it for a bit it was a cold night as well and it had just snowed. Was peaceful and nice. Then I proceeded to put it out like a good person should.

 

It sure would have been nice to be able to push a couple of camp chairs and share it.

 

Pretty much what I was thinking. It was a nice night for it. Shame..

YUP I agree. Get what you want and then there is no regrets.

 

There is ALWAYS some kind of compromise. That's a reality of the real world. You already mentioned the color not being the exact one you originally wanted. This is an example.

The key is to keep those to a minimum. Sounds like you are doing it the right way.

 

Howdy, just starting, been gettin good advice off here for about a year, Ive got a 2014 dclb ,ome lift relenless pans and sliders 235/85 16's and I trying to work out the front cahain issue, most people ask wtf would you want chains?, dont know, but ive got chains that are older than most of the owners...... when you need them, nothing else will do. Im gonna try 1.5" spacers and hope thats enough clearance but not to much to cause rub, none as yet with the 235's, ive seen a few FJ's with chains , but they have bigger wheel wells, any way im determined.

 

Eh I've never needed chains really. Winch and maxxtracks will work better and faster.

I doubt it. Aren't they like 1.5"s wider.

Also, did you ever do a ground clearance measurement comparison?

 

Those were only 3/4" wider, not 1.5" wider.

I have used chains several times. I don't have a winch (YET) But I do build mine chains to fit current rigs. The ones i have now have grousers every other cross link. I have 2 complete sets. Actually they are in my truck now
