Out of town right now. Just talked to them and will pick up next Monday. However, my expert bumper installer will be out of town for a few weeks so probably will wait till he gets back. No major pressure now that the bumper is in my hands.

Man I love the grill and lights on the 96/97.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/445575/cat/500

I been thinking about finding a donor and converting my 2003 back. Somehow I feel like headlights should be round or rectangle, not oblong. Also I like the idea of the sealed glass rather than the poly-carbonate that fogs up.

Not sure why I can't get the images to load full size :(

Does anybody know if the Relentless receiver has a load rating? Im wondering if it would be better to stick with my separate off-the-shelf Class III.

If not I wonder if there is a way to get an official rating sticker on a custom receiver. Can you get cited for pulling a load with a custom receiver?

    ...just thinking out loud.

yes, I have done the mods
Anyone have any pics of the Relentless bed cross bars with the hi-lift mounts, "side mount on each bar"?

I dunno if that's a new option Eric just added; I don't remember it being on his store site before - thought there was only the option for two hi-lift mount points, cross-style, on one bar.

Side mount on each bar sounds like what I want if it is what I think it is, but I haven't seen any pics of it anywhere and his sales site only has a pic of the cross-style on one bar.

Could have this wrong, but I think it's been mentioned that in order to get an official rating for the receiver there is some crazy fee like $10K the fabricator/company would have to pay. Not really worth it for for many shops. If you compare a side by side of the factory towing package hitch and one from Relentless, the Relentless piece is much beefier.

    Sounds about right. Thanks guys.

Either way I might just keep the separate hitch so I can pull it off if I ever need the exit clearance.

Install was more of a pain than it should have been, but I am happy with the end result.

I started looking through this thread, pretty sure I heard my wallet let out a whimper, then I found the SWB post, and I can absolutely say I heard both my wallet and bank account start crying. I've got a few questions before I order. Will post them in the am. These look amazing!!
