All I saw was they locked the thread and said they were going to look into it further.

 

said he can continue to sell if he changes the design. I think everyone should change the design if that is the case. Bunch of women on here.

 

Eddy hasn't told me much past what initially Bob and Chris are doin. But from the sound of it, they want eddy to redesign EVERYTHING he has...because it "looks like" someone else's products. Which is complete BS, there are more bumpers out there that look much more similar than eddys to others

 

Exactly, told eddy the same thing. Bit of a double standard to force eddy to change his design but not others when they look like someone else's stuff

Stuff doesn't look like a stolen design to me. Looks like everyone has influenced each other and they all put their own "twist" on it, not one bumper on this site is an "original" design except maybe the ARB bumper.

i think for the principle of it, he should say screw the mods and keep doing whatever he wants, but if he actually wanted to make money and advert through tw, he better start redesigning

I mean to me these 2 sets of sliders that are being compared do not look like the same design. To me it looks like 2 different fabricators work that have put their own twist on the way the kick out is built.
Why are they even compared to each other?

 

To me looks like the ones on the right are more similar to all poos design so who is coping who here?

I think we should all start a support thread for eddy and SOS. Simon's pictures really put a whole in the argument that "his are to similar". They are ALL similar, and ALL of their "legal disclaimers" are basically cookie cutter legal words that can be found in ANY legal database. I know because I searched through about 5 yesterday between working on cases.

I agree and support Eddy 100% this is crazy. You make a great point with the grills! Same with Retrofits ! I guess they all should be shut down too cause they all do the same thing and there is no design change from the multiple venders that offer them. this would be a great support Eddy/SOS thread discussion FOR SURE.

All I'm gonna say about the one fabricator coping the other.... If it works it works, just because one person had it built first, doesn't mean someone else has t built the same thing. Also f the design works why change the design?
