Too poor to list anything interesting.

    :brianr:

Guess that means I might as well stay at camp and drink. At least I'll win at that.

I may have actually signed up for it, but I don't quite qualify. I'm sure they'll kick me out. :D

We can zip tie my extra bumper to yours. They won't notice the difference.

Then we'll have to listen to him tell us about his new Cheby Sil-ver-ay-dough.

Have to drag my utility trailer down to my folks place this morning. My drop hitch isn't long enough anymore, so the trailers going to wag like a tail all the way there. Fun

If you told me earlier, I would have towed it last night. I went back home to the Galveston area.

Well, the lights on the trailer aren't working, so pulling it at night isn't the best option. I'll just have to remember to take a new wiring kit down with me the next time I need to use it.

    Thanks though

Well, just went over to Sterling McCall because they are close to the office. They told me the frame is bent. They want to bend it back. Doesn't sound like a good fix to me, but what do I know. I think I will take it over to Clear Lake Body Shop as well.

Anyone dealt with a bent frame and had it "repaired"? Seems like the value of my truck just went down the toilet.

I had the frame bent on my last truck and it was repaired. No noticeable difference after it was repaired. It was actually straighter than it came from the factory. That being said, I sold it as soon as I got it back from the body shop. I sold it for $500 less than what I paid for it a year and a half before.

Your value just went way down.

If the accident wasn't your fault, and with how new the truck is, I wouldn't have them bend it back. I'd push for new frame and diminished value of the truck. There's a few threads out there on this and some other members may be able to give you advice when dealing with the insurance. All of this is my opinion, but the choice is up to you.

My dad had to have his frame straightened on his f150 after I kissed a tree with it going about 10mph. That was around 8-9 years ago. No issues it's still his daily driver.
