    Few slider updates!!

Buddy sent me a few pics of a nasty wreck he was involved in totaling two cars and leaving just a scratch on his sliders! and also this pic of him using the lift at work supporting the full weight of his 4Runner with the sliders

Also finished up the first set of 100% bolt on FJ sliders! Production will begin after thanksgiving on these!

I actually do not, I can bend it but I cant weld it.. have the set up for it but haven't had the interest enough to justify buying the shielding gas to weld it.. that being said I can make it happen if it was really wanted

How do you like your Rogue Bender? Just welded one up, in process of converting it to electric/hydraulic..

I actually didn't too much care for it, didn't like the aluminum die.. it gouged far too easy even with cleaning the tube before putting it in, and the clamp didn't seem to last very long and would slip.. and it was semi bulky in general.. I ended up buying the JDM32 and 2 dies and I like it much better, its a lot easier to repeat bends on it simply because its easier to know exactly where the bend would start on the tube.. I learned it and it was fine until the clamp quit clamping and the tube started slipping then would kink the bend so I sold it lol

Yeah; I'm pretty much right there with you..

One of the anchor points for the ram has already deflected for some reason, and it's honestly a real pain in the ass to load tube and change out dies. I don't like that I've got to stick my fingers in between the bend plates to ensure that the follower die doesn't invert..

I'm kind of on the fence about it right now as well.

I think my favorite part about it was that it bent vertically, I liked that and I didn't at times.. I hate to have said that just after you bought it but glad im not the only one.. its not bad for the price I guess for a starter bender but im much happier with the JD2! it seems to bend better as well IMO

I saw on an earlier post that you were going to start working on bolt-on sliders for the Tacomas "after November". Are there bolt ons already available? Do they require drilling of tue frame, if so, how many holes have to be drilled? Thanks.

I never get any interest in the bolt ons for 2nd gens, only weld ons so I never messed with them plus I don't have one to mock up on which I could goto the stealership to do it but again not much interest. Though I can say they would be 100% no drill install

Business is slow, turnaround is fast :D

I don't run no production line here so I can generally pump some sliders out in a day. I work full time so its in my spare time but I have some tube at the shop and wouldn't take too long to knock em out.. Everything is optional and design can be made specific to your needs etc. Custom is my middle name and I like to be different. Ill work with you, just let me know! Shoot me a PM or ask here if you have any questions!
