I would have the Factory CV axles rebuilt. When I needed them for my 4Runner, I took them in to exchange and the Napa and O'Reilly both had at least one that had Made in China on the box, I carried them to a CV axle shop and got my same 2 back that afternoon and the cost was about $30 more than the new exchange ones. I couldn't find rebuilt CV axles in stock locally, so this might not be the case for rebuilt store bought brands. The guy also gave me a lifetime warranty on them too.

    So... exhaust guru's,
what are the differences between these cans?

edumacate me on chambered vs straight through.

I'm not expecting any hp gains or the like. Not opposed to it either.

using 4wheel parts website because pricing is listed and that's the question, what am I paying for here?

I like the price on this first one. Couldn't care less about polished or otherwise.\
I'm ok with spending more to get what I want.

18" 4x9 oval stainless steel $77.99 Chambered design
    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Performa...49&t_pt=3362&t_pn=M/F13266#overview_Container

18" 5x8 polished stainless $140.99 Straight through design
    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Performa...er.aspx?t_c=74&t_s=49&t_pt=3362&t_pn=M/F14263

18" 4x9 polished stainless $138.99 Straight through design
    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Performa...er.aspx?t_c=74&t_s=49&t_pt=3362&t_pn=M/F14366

I think the last two are just a price difference due to the shape/popularity.

    EDIT:
nevermind, chambered is basically like the Flowmaster. I see the straight through design is what you are all using.

18" 12256, good tone and no cab drone at highway speeds. Center in and offset outlet.

    I love mine!

Put on some go-faster brake bits, got much better bite with the greenstuff pads. For a first timer brake job, it was pretty damn easy.

Made and installed some frame reinforcements. Tomorrow I'm changing the clutch. Putting in a stage 3+ comp clutch, LCE 38lb flywheel, and a Marlin short throw.

I was this close to buying a pair of saws. Buy Brady came up with a very valid number of points. So Instead I just bought another pair of 5100s, gonna use my eibachs, and with the money I save im gonna buy a winch (hopefully if time allows lol) it is a winch, which is useful, and the extra weight will make the front ride better
