I like the behind grill setup personally. I think that would be cool for those.

Has anyone bought, seen, used Bud Built Skid Plates? Just curious, he is in western North Carolina. I am looking for a set of skid plates. .25" steel but 3/16" would work. Definitely front, ideally mid and tranny to match. Let me know if anyone is getting ready to strip armor off. There is a full set of relentless for sale but 600 plus shipping from Cali blows the deal.

I've got AllPro's front IFS and transmission skid plates and found they were reasonably priced.

Yeah they look nice. Did you have to modify the exhaust crossover? Do you know if the front accomodates a diff drop as well?

I have some spacers i kept to lower a skid so i can keep my diff drop, but i havent modified my crossover yet. I want to hack it and move it above the subframe.

I didn't have to do anything at all with the exhaust crossover. Both skid plates simply bolted right on ... but you do have to remove the factory "skid plate" (obviously) and two more pieces that are right underneath it.

Not sure about fitment with a diff drop kit but some kind of small spacer should give you enough room.

I have some OME 885x I'm looking to part with. Got them from another member and decided I'm going to stick with just the bilsteins at the moment. Not interested in shipping so if your local shoot me a pm if interested.

I've seen plenty of rigs with plate bumpers and 885s. Assuming you were concerned with the extra weight up front?

885x and 887 are the same spring rates. 887s are taller than 885 by about 10mm, I believe. Thus same great flat rate of an 885 with more lift and no spacers.

No plate bumper ... yet, but I wanted the extra lift from the 887s without having to add a top plate spacer.

Just a feeler, but is anyone looking for a roll-up tonneau for a 2nd Gen short bed? I'm still thinking about ditching mine and going with a softopper. It's an Access Lorado Low-Profile.. Retails at about $550, I bought it for about $460+shipping, and would be willing to let it go for around $325 OBO to help fund the softopper. At work now but I could get pictures later if anyone is interested.

That's why we got it. It sucks when you have camp all set up and you want to go wheeling when the RTT is mounted to the truck.

Anyone interested in having a meetup sometime soon? Maybe the buffalo wing factory in Fair Oaks or something? I would be up for wherever.
