Yes I did say that. Look how much he's accomplished in just 3 years in the league.

No one has ever done what Wilson has in their first 3 years.

    Play-offs every year
    1 SB Title
    1 NFC Championship Title
    Back to Back SB Appearances

I dare you to find another QB that can match that in the history of football.

Plus just watch the guy play!

    Still laughing? :)

    Mr. Gelo760,

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I've ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response was there anything that could even be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

like baby kanye west "Hold on Jesus... I'm the greatest baby born, EVER!"

Definitely the luckiest team in the league...the last play call wouldn't have mattered if the ball didn't land in his lap after multiple tip flip.

I think I gotta agree with this, I like Wilson, but... He's nothing more than a decent quarterback. Put Manning, Brees, Brady, Rodgers, or Luck on a team with a defense and running game as good as Seattle's, and they win the Super Bowl every year, by a huge margin. This doesn't mean that Wilson will never be elite, but Trent Dilfer and Peyton Manning both have one ring, and they're at complete opposite ends of the spectrum; so Wilson with one ring really doesn't mean much. As far what he's done in his first three years, about 80% of it can be attributed to seattle's lights out defense. Prior to the super bowl, you're looking at a team who allowed a combined 12 points in the second halves of their past 8 games, it's amazing really. You have to applaud Wilson's leadership, motivation, intelligence, and personality though - that's part of what makes him good. If he was a douche, he'd be Mark Sanchez v2.0...

Fellow Niner fans, we have some free agents comin up. Do you think we should Use, or lose these dudes? Personally, I'd try to keep the bottom three.

A few less yards, way better TD to INT ratio than Brady with more TD's and a better comp %. I'm not calling the kid as good as Tom Brady or anywhere near it yet, but these stats comparing their first 3 years still surprised me. I firmly believe Russell can turn into a Brees type QB when he needs to. That was his game at Wisconsin. He's just going to get better.

Not sure you can really compare the two, two completely different games...

Not sure why you can't compare two QB's in the NFL. I understand you can't compare the way they play the position but who care how it's played, I'm just looking at raw passing numbers. These don't include Wilson's running yards obviously.

My point here is that Tom Brady is arguably the best QB in the history of the game. He started at spot A as a rookie and will end up at spot B when he retires. Some people are ragging on Wilson's passing ability and I'm showing that through his first 3 seasons looking solely at passing number his "A" is ahead of Brady's A. Will he end up higher at B when he retires, probably not ... but who knows.

I do think comparing him to Dilfer is wrong, silly actually, he's already proven to be a much better passer than Dilfer. So, that's either ignorance on your part or just an absolute inability to give someone on another team credit where it is deserved.

Dilfer's best career season was 1997

    217 - 386 56.2% 2555yards 21td 5.4avg 11int 82.8rtg

Wilson has beat Dilfer's best season every single year of his first 3. Posting QB ratings of 101, 100 and 95. Way more yards 3100, 3350 and 3500 TD's 26/26/20 and Avg 64/63/63. All with less interceptions, 10, 9 and 7.

Wilson is light years ahead of Dilfer as Trent never had a year even close to any of those 3. For comparison he also destroys Brees first 3 complete years.

I honestly don't think anyone is saying he's one of the best to ever play the game. I do agree with the next 3-5, It's going to be interesting when Manning, Brady, Brees are gone.

Maybe sign Gore for vet mininum too. I haven't heard, is he wanting to play one more year or mulling retirement?

Crabtree I've never believed has lived up to the hype..

Its all good, I'm glad your team continues to shit all over itself and has turned completely irrelevant. So irrelevant that all you have to talk about is my team and other peoples teams. It must really sting considering how close they were.

C'mon bro, you just sit here all pitiful and have nothing better to do than lob shots at the Seahawks and their fans all day. Your team came one play from the division championship... lol. Good for you! Make sure you tell all your friends about how awesome your team almost was.

Is that how the conversation goes in the bar? "We were almost good man, almost" "Fuck Seattle man, they suck because they are actually good" "Yeah man, we almost beat them. Then they beat us twice in our shitty new stadium in front of our shitty quiet ass fans who have NO passion"

"But we were almost good. Almost."

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll try to troll me about this years Super Bowl, It won't work because I'm extremely happy with where the Seahawks are. Our future is very bright. As opposed to yours, the almosts.

    AlmostSF_zpsed4dd961_cca8e718697775634c94e467122c2855783d2d44.jpg

For the record, I've tried to cut you some slack over the last couple months but fuck. You just keep lobbing shots man. I figured your period would have passed by now.

    The Seattle mentality?

The SF mentality is to win 20 years ago and pretend like that still fucking matters.
