Did some cold weather Alaska camping. I had done down to 19* before, but wanted to test colder. It was -6* when we woke up. had the little buddy heater on full, was in a 10* sleeping bag and it wasn't too bad. CVT's pretty legit. all the canvas held up through being quite thoroughly frozen.

Chipnoreo made that for me. the tent i got from ben bacher (he's CVT's vender up here) that rack is solid! i could probably park my truck on top of it. might be a little too solid. i kind of cracked my bed going out to knik glacier because of all the bed flexing and extra weight. (some pretty intense wheeling)

20% tint on all windows, Deckplate mod, satoshi-ish grille, blacked out and/or body matched emblems, rattle canned rims, red l.e.d. interior lights, bilstein 5100's and OME 881 coils , deaver 8 leaf pack, 1.5" lift shackle, alpine sound system, 55w HID lightforce 140 and 170 fogs
What do the feet on the rack look like? Is it four individual feet or are the two on each side of the bed connected? If its jus the individual feet, I'd consider changing it up and using one long piece of angle iron to spread the weight of the RTT out over the whole bed rail instead of just a few small portions.

I do have angle iron running the whole length of the bed for that exact reason. i heard people saying it might help, and i think it does, i was just wheeling pretty hard on it. now i need to come up witha way to patch it. i'm thinking a metal plate with a few bolts on either side of the crack. (it basically pulled apart where the front of the bed connects with the side; right down that corner)

I see your rig around base a lot and always wanted to stop and look at your setup but always get sidetracked or just forget to do it

Any suggestions on which vanity plate style to go with that would look good on a black tacoma and that would kind of blend into black more compared to the ugly normal yellow/orange ones? lol
