    Those are some good videos, everything you need to know.

    In the end all it comes down to is loosening and tightening bolts and nuts. Maybe a little bending of some sheet metal, but it wouldn't be fun if we didn't have to do that!

    Has anyone got their spiral cable assembly recall done? Did it today and now the airbag light is on, it makes noise when I turn and my horn won't work.... Fucking dealership.

    Mines an 07. The recall said "2005-2009 spiral cable assembly Recall, recommends to replace spiral cable with upgraded part"

    Probably should have never had the dealership fuck with it.

    Good to know. Soon as the dealership touched it... Problems. Also they said no word on leaf spring recall and no they won't just pay me for new dakars lol

    If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
    That would be your clock spring. When they disconnected the steering column, they must've spun the steering wheel one or more times before bolting it back up.

    Now, when you turn a certain direction, it is yanking the ribbon cable to tight. It will need to be replaced.

    Tell them to replace your clock spring and give you a $50 parts voucher.
