    Hey all,

    Just joined up.
Wanted to say thanks for posting up TSB's!

I got an '09 a couple of months ago, went to haul a load, said load came in right under 1200#. Springs were sitting on bump stops.
    I took pictures.
Found the TSB (05-08) on Tacoma World.
Then took pictures of my spring #'s. Called my dealer, then called Toyota, got a case #.
Service Manager called me next day.
Emailed him pictures, he drove the truck, sent info to Toyota.
Today got the go ahead to perform the work, the parts are ordered.

He also told me that Toyota is going to do a TSB for the '09 springs, so it should be a little easier for the rest of you w/ '09's.

    Thanks Again!
    Scott

I had my 09 done last week as well. It ended up being exactly 1.5 inches taller in the rear. It is a much better ride now. This is what the truck need from the factory. Now I need to get the front leveled.

Glad to hear Toyota honors the TSB for you. You should throw the name out of the dealership in your area, just in case any one needs TSB taken care of in your area.

    BTW, welcome to TW.

After it's done...and if it's done right, I will post up.
I haven't had the best "service after the sale" experience w/ my salesman, as a matter of fact they have an infinity that my wife would love, but she says "no more cars from them!"

I have waited over two months for leather and I had to call the leather dude to make the appointment.

He did do an awesome job tho...much nicer than factory.

So far, nice little truck, the tranny issues take some getting used to.

I have an 09 called Toyota got a ref # and went to my local dealer as Toyota said.
The dealer then took down the info on my truck and the ref #. A few days later the Service Director called and said they, the dealer would not do it since the TSB doesnt cover 09s. I informed him Toyota said they would and gave him the Ref # again and he said he would call me back. Next call I got was they wanted to see the truck again to look at the bumpstops. Have not been in yet.

I got my '09 done about a month ago. Stiffer now--good. Next I want to invest in a U-Bolt flip kit.

These are the pictures I took and sent in (minus the watermarks).
I took pictures of both sides and the load from different angles...but you'll get the jist.
You could go buy 15 bags of play sand for about 3 bucks each and that would take you to 1200 lbs. drive to the dealer, tell SM to take it for a test drive...you'll get your tsb.
Then take the sand back to Home depot and get your money back.

Norcal, after getting my tsb done, truck sat 1.5 inches taller in the back than stock. but about a week later when i installed the bilstein 5100s up front, i re-measured the back and it settled to only 1 inch over stock. So thats why i set the 5100s at .85.
