Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Yes because if they did not raise the roof at all I would hit my head on the sunroof like I did in the 4runner and it drove me nuts.

The stoplights thing is really the only part of the cab that bothers me in my 2nd gen. other than that, the truck is designed pretty well for people over 6 ft tall :)

And this thread is nice because it has been more a discussion of the new trucks and possible changes/improvements rather than just bitching!

I love my 13, but there's so much in the 16 I'd like to have... might need to trade mine in!

Same here, I hate that grill, but like everything else. Trying really hard to just be happy with what I have which is great, my dream 2nd Gen, new, but a little jelly of the features of the 2016s. Took a big hit on trading in my 2014 Sierra for this taco, just cant do it again.

Seeing one in the flesh is the real test. I think the truck looks good now after it grew on me. I have a feeling torque will drop though. And the lighter body will compensate for it in towing figures, which Toyota has said will go up.
They have repeatedly said HP, MPG and towing will go up, but never mention torque.

Did they say Power or HP, Power could mean both..

I hope it doesn't drop. And I really hope it has as much or more bottom end as the 4.0

Well a smarter transmission and lighter truck could mean that less torque in the engine itself equal more usable torque in the real world. I hope that is not the case though.

^This. The wife cringes every time we go to a car show or she catches me looking at cars on the interweb. :)

On a side note, Charleston was awesome, Tommy Condon's, The Griffin, and a couple of brew houses on Saturday that I can't remember the name of. A little bit of a pub crawl. Only spent two days there, we'll definitely go back for a longer stay.

Looks like the fat lip whale bumper for tacomas.... only slightly redesigned.

Looks like a poor approach angle for the tundra. I personally only like a few aftermarket bumpers and I agree that is too bulky and heavy.

Well given the shape of 2016 Taco that's likely the General style you'll see for Taco as well with the lines of stock bumper.

No one likes this example of aftermarket bumper, well.... that's going to be the kind of choice there is for the Taco 2016 so....
