Lol well lets see if this helps.

All I did was start with some cardboard and got the rough size and shape. Then cut that shape out of plastic. I then trimmed around bumps and bolts so I could tuck it up as high as possible so it isn't visible. I used simple L-brackets to hold it it up. I had to drill a few holes into the engine bay but whatever.

You can see that I had to cut the liner in half. I couldn't get it hot enough to mold the way I wanted but thats probably because I was working outside in 40 degree weather . Once it gets into the 80's Ill probably redo it so its a solid piece. There is a small piece you can see hanging a bit low, I need to just mold the plastic right there. It wedges against the fender and I thought that would be enough. Simple fix though. I want to redo this side again anyways to make cleaner cuts and see if I can't get it super snug.

I let mine go . I figured I would be ok until I ordered the high clearance rear but I was wrong. It ripped from the bottom up to the tail light with Wyoming wind. Luckily I caught one side as it went slightly above where I have to cut for the HC.

I contacted pelfrey about ordering the bumper and he sent me his bed side supports and those have worked out perfect.

I put mine in a vice and bent it a bit to sill work (if you are referring to the one on the front side of the fenders)

    No mine is the back.
Only thing I can think if is drilling a hole in the bottom of the fender and using an l bracket to re attach it further back

I am pretty sure you can attach the stock ones with some minor changes. The only reason I didn't is because I left them at my parents.

Don't waste your money on fancy bedside supports, I made one with pieces of scrap aluminum bent on a vice and drilled into the bedside/bed

Yeah if you don't have a high clearance bumper just modding the stock ones will work just fine. I did something similar to that with my front ones, just cut them off and bent them to shape, then rewelded back on.

On a DCSB you can leave the front ones off. There's so little material there that it's rigid enough and doesn't flop in the wind.

That came out super clean! I am going to be putting my flares back on next weekend hopefully. I just need to find the link to the fender clips again and order some.
