    Thanks for all the welcomes!
I have a couple questions. I am ordering the arb bumper on Monday and know my bumper is gonna make my front end sag a bit. I don't have alot of money left to spend. I am gonna get bilstein 5100's on the front to help the sag and maybe gain an inch:). My question is what you guys think about a ruff country aal with the sx8000 for the rear. Just can't afford the 5100 on the rear. .....

It's actually the rack that Jerry had on his truck, he's doing some custom stuff so I was able to snag it, it's got fancy air shock mounts for a high lift and shit (technical term)

Pay no attention to the ratchet strap or the Towel protecting my paint, the rack needs some modification to work with my setup

I dig the straps. My 92 BMW had two of them holding the hood down :anonymous: plus a bungee cord.

So yeah. 100+ MPH wind gusts and tsunami force torrential downpour rain do not mix well with large Tahoe trees. My buddy called me in a panic earlier and said two trees were about to fall on his house. He had called every tree service in Tahoe and the fire department, and they all said...fuck that, it's raining or didn't answer. I grabbed the chainsaw and every last tow strap and D-ring I owned and my old snowboard gear and booked it up to the top of Kingsbury. If there ever was an "oh fuck me" moment in my life...it was when I pulled up.

By the time I got there one tree had snapped and fell on his house. Broke one of the upstairs windows and peeled some siding. Not terrible. But the other tree...aimed right at the front door and kitchen window...and twice the size of the other tree. The tree was angled about 20 degrees and uprooting more by the minute. You can see the dirt from the uprooting in the picture below. Every gust of wind made my sphincter pucker harder than any oh shit moment I've had in my truck.

Wrapped the tree with one strap as high as we could get it and anchored it with his truck. Went to town with the chain saw. Last 2" the chain snagged and the tree popped off the trunk and sunk into the dirt. Wrapped my last strap around the base and used my truck the opposite direction to sweep the tree. 4 low...locked front and rear. 4 wheel burnout trying to time it in between traffic up 237. Tree fell nearly perfectly barely clipping the house with zero additional damage (outside what was already done by the previous tree).

I'd love to say I got all kinds of cool pictures and video...but that was the farthest thing from my mind. But the aftermath pictures are below. Allegedly his neighbor got it on video...if I get it I'll post it up later. You can see the angle of the stump below...which is actually significantly less than with the weight of the tree gone. Kind of a shame...counted the rings and it was exactly 100 years old.
    jberry's tacoma tree service....

I will say...general population in today's society are FUCKING RETARDED! The movie Idiocracy is quite literally coming true. It's pouring ass rain and we had an audience or assholes and retards just watching. One dip shit stopped and had his phone out taking video. But the moron was literally in the "drop zone." I politely walked up to him and made the old "roll the window down" hand signal and asked him if he was here to help or if he just had down syndrome. He got all pissed and sped away. But I digress...

Wow! Damn dude that's awesome! But then again it's sad that you had to go to that trouble because the people whose job it is wouldn't do it. And then you had to deal with ignorant people. But kudos to you!

Couple wood screws and a new window and he's back in business.
And apparently I've got a few cases of beer and all the firewood I'll need for the foreseeable future. :cookiemonster:

    Look at build!

No clue haha these aren't mine. The tires are 36/13.5/15 but id imagine its probably a 10" wheel. I ordered new wheels for my tires Friday so should be taking these iroks off soon, they aren't much of a street tire, I just wanted them for this weekend. As much as I hate mud these damn tires are great in it, went to try out a new local place that just opened up "jeep trails" so went to see what it was all about... as expected just a man made trail with a backhoe and dozer with some mud holes cut into it.. The mud bog event was the main deal though, pretty fun watching others tear stuff up!

These guys mallcrawlers make my truck look tiny

Best mega truck that was there this weekend, fun watching these guys jump these rigs through the mud and hope they don't break as a lot of them are janky but this one was well built

Well, I could probably do it without regearing. 35s will actually bring the speedo back to stock but the increased rotational mass will kill any chances of beating peeps off the line. ;)

That's a good plan. Is it going to be your DD? Man, I wish they would release a TRD turbo that you could have dealer installed. That would rock. I hope it has a manual...
