    nice! i went on a road ride earlier near massanutten and it was so windy!

    Then this happened today too.....any one ever deal with treks frame replacement? all i know is i feel some wobble and my tire rubbing and see this...so pissed

    I've heard trek is pretty good with their warranty stuff. Just go to a shop that will do one correctly and not huff and puff through it.

    That assuming they think it is a warranty issue and not an abuse/normal wear and tear issue (I'm not saying you abused it or anything)

    Definitely go to your shop. Trek replaced my SuperFly no questions asked and paid for the labor to reinstall my parts on the new frame.

    That's what I like to hear haha. I am worried about the fact that's it's a 26in wheel. So unless they still have some old ones I'm not sure what they would do

    Yeah.
    If that's a Fuel, they should have some -- they had a problem with the early ones breaking, but they typically broke on the seatstay right next to where the brake caliper mounts. I know of 3 locally that were replaced.

    Damn hopefully, I searched broken fuel ex frame or something like that and the first picture was a fuel with the same exact break on that inner weld. I will hopefully have an answer after I take it to the shop this afternoon. I also got lucky with the year. It seems like their current warranty policy only holds to 2011 which is what mine is.
