Guys I got a tapping sound coming from my engine when its cold. It is really noticeable when I first take off. If I let the engine warm up longer it seems to improve. Once the engine is up to temp it's fine. Any ideas what it could be?

Might be your valves need to be adjusted. I dont know if you would really call it a tapping noise but they will make noise when they are off a little bit!

That tapping is normal on a cold motor.

Ok...these motors are inherently noisy. It could be the vlaves need adjusting.
