    Mat Thickness: 1.85mm ( Conservative rating)
    Foil Thickness: 0.1mm
    Mat size: 4sq ft
    Pack side : 40 sq ft ( 10 sheets)

    Im also looking to provide a group buy on the shok Triton 8/10/12s
    10623509_10152644345697272_4376646484968_8fb6b5bc3135d99bf7ec879cf96b159fd12d42e7.jpg
    The triton 12s do fit behind the seat of the tacoma with minor modification to the top bracket and some good craftsmanship.

    I will load in some pictures tonight some time of all the products, link reviews from TW members.
    -i am also working on a new box design that will net 2CF, and provide enough room to mount amps
    this design will also require minor modification, but will work well with 2 12s sealed or 2 8s ported

    If you have any questions or doubts because you don't recognize the name or item please don't discount it. Contact me and i can provide reference material. All pricing is Strictly TW Special only and cannot be used to price match or use in any other way than going through this. All prices are + pp fees

    I just thought I'd post my opinions on the triton 8's. Since I haven't installed them yet I can't comment on how they sound, however their build quality is very sturdy and from how much info manethon's told me about them I'm very excited to install them!

    I've read that this sound deadening stuff is a real PITA to install with minimal benefit. That's just what I've read.

    Is there some science (comparative decibel readings, for example) to back up the claims for this stuff.

    And, can anyone who's done this successfully put some testimonials here? It's no substitute for the science, but it may be helpful, too.

    (Not here to crap on your GB...I'd just like to know more about it before sinking a lot of time and money into it.)

    Id like to keep this thread clean....
    I don't mind answering Questions via pm or phone

    There is a ton of literature, testimonials on here and the web.
    Is it a PIA, for some it is, but if you have a quality product to work with its really not that bad, The roof is about the worst to do as it kills the shoulder.

    Deadening your truck is one of the very best things you can do.

    Besides the audio benefit(sound quality and SPL ) , it massively reduces road noise as well as rattles. It also removes that tin can feel/ sound to your truck.

    I can get behind the tech stuff later

    Sure, I'll throw my experience in here with deadener.

    It's a bit of a PITA to install, if you don't fully know what you're doing. Using full sheets is difficult to work with. Cutting with a disposable razor knife, you can cut it into smaller sections, maybe 2x2ft. sheets, and apply with good pressure. Work it down, stick it well, and it's easy to put in. In my experience, deadener has killed vibrations, dulled the sound from the outside, and given panels a lot less flex. I've put 2 layers on my roof and back wall, and have a bunch to put on the floor when it warms up. Panel vibrations are killed, sound outside the truck is kept to a minimum, and overall performance of the speakers is improved. You get a much fuller sound out of things like the mids in the doors, because the energy isn't wasted by vibrating the panel. Sound deadening, IMO, is the FIRST thing that should be done on a serious install, to get the most out of your expensive equipment. Short term pain, for very good long term gain.

    Yes, ill most likely post full specs on Every item shortly...
    The 1800.1 has been clamped tested around 19xx wrms

    the amp series are based on Power rating at 1ohm
    600.1 = 600 watts Rms @ 2 ohm
    1200.1= 1200Watts Rms @ 1 ohm
    1800.1= 1800Watts rms @ 1 ohm

    H500 is 90x4@4ohms , 500@2 ohms. The beautiful thing about this amp is the Hybrid technology by utilizing both a separate Class AB mid amp topology and Class D sub

    I made a small correction on the 600.1

    The amps are a great fit in the tacoma,
    For reference i could fit 2 of the 1.8kw amps under the passenger seat. It was tight but it made it

    In for deadener. I'll probably start with 1 pack. What is the consensus on where to kill road noise the best? Floor, Doors, Or Roof

    Biggest noise i found to be from the doors and the rear panel....

    I also personally sealed up the rear cabin vent, good or bad i don't know but its super quite.

    I was forced to do my roof as i separated my roof skin from the cross members when i used to use my truck for competing in DB drag SS no wall. Either way, it made a huge difference.
