This is a photo from a 2007 Tacoma TRD Off-Road that is for sale at my local dealership. My 2008 Tacoma TRD Off-Road does not have any of these bottom switches shown here on this 2007, mine are are all blanks. How come I don't have them??? And, are any of them worth having if you got them?

all of those were options and not standard like on the 09+'s. i "think" the DAC is only for manuals as well. RSCA are the roll side curtain airbags and the swirly car off one is for vehicle stability control

The DAC is for Auto's not manuals, we get the clutch start cancel button...

You should have the RR Diff Lock, 400 Wat bed outlet plug and front fog lights? The others I don't have a clue as to what they are. What does your owners manual say?

I do have those and the mirror switch. It's the bottom three on the right that I don't have.

Are you sure that pic is from an OR taco. I always thought that those switches only came with the sport package.

You for sure should have the top row. The bottom row might be an option. If yours doesn't have the rear locker I'm pretty sure you don't have the OR.

Those were special options on 07's. My 08 doesn't have them either. There is a guy on ttora that has an 07 and I asked him about the extra options, he said he searched for quite a while till he found a 07 Taco with them.

I always thought those were buttons from the off-road packages? I have a sports edition and I don't have those on mine.

You are correct. I didn't even notice it. I guess these other switches are options that I didn't know about.

i've never seen an auto w/ the DAC

i've had an 07 sport and an 09 sport...bottom 3 are definately not on all sports. my 07 sport only had fogs and the outlet, period....then the 09 sport has the fogs, outlet, VSC, and RSCA...no DAC

he noted in the original post that he as th top row and not the bottom

That's crazy. I always thought the reason I didn't have the extra three switches was cuz mine is an OR package not a sport. I guess I've been lied to .

All that stuff is standard now on the '09s and up offroad 4x4 models. (edited in offroad 4x4 models to clear that up)

Also to respond to someone above, DAC isn't available on any stick shift, comes on the automatic. The manual comes with a button that overrides the clutch so you can start the truck in gear.

My Auto Offroad has DAC (as well as hill start assist), its part of the Off road package with Automatic transmissions (not manuals).

DAC isn't even an option on the sport, its an offroad thing...

The Sport package is mainly about looks while the Offroad has the...offroad stuff. Its why the Offroad costs more than the Sport does.

Rcsa button is to turn off your airbags. The Dac is for the hill decent. Helps control momentum going down hill. The one next to it is your traction control.

OR gets the RR button where the sports is blank....and they both should have a minimum of the VSC and RSCA bottons on the bottom for the 09+. i used the bottom center blank for my driving lights rocker

EDIT: here are the minimums on an 09 sport w/ the added rocker in the bottom middle....
