If I wasn't going to get Tacoma I probably would have gotten a TRD Off Road Tundra or maybe a Nissan Frontier even though the frontier is hideous and soooooo outdated.

I didn't know GM was making a Denali version. Sweet. It'll be plush inside and look nice. Most of the oil field bosses around here own Denali HD's, so I personally wouldn't own one cause I hate when everyone owns the same black truck.

The leather on most of the Yukon Denalis my parents have owned in the past has tended to wear pretty quickly but otherwise the trucks electronics have seemed to do okay. They did rattle a lot too.

The more and more I stare at that picture the more and more I think that's a Sierra not a Canyon lol.

If it stands the test of time, the new Colorado. If from the last generation, probably a Frontier... But I wouldn't like it.

That's okay, I'll be really impressed if it beats the Subaru in street performance (0-30 mph, 60-0 mph, max g's, etc.). Those are the things the STi has had for many many years, on top of it's wonderful AWD, over everything else available. If the Focus RS matches those numbers, odds are we might ditch getting a second truck in the family for a RS.

Forgive me if this has been covered in the many pages of this thread, but if you use the handbrake for a hill start, the 'assist' doesn't kick in. (At least on my cursed '13 stick impreza.)

It's a canyon. Here is the non denali access cab.

The posted truck is 100% a Sierra. I've been looking them up and down for 3 months now.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Well that's good, that's just what cam from the dealer and a little looking back a few years ago.

My mom wanted one, found one she liked and checked it out..

And yea. I was checking once a day at work. Got bored with that, so now I will see them when they get here. :)

Correct. You have to be on the brake for hill assist to occur

I'm well aware of the Diesel by now on here, but I didn't know that they were making a Denali.

I know midsize trucks are perfect for a lot of the guys on this site, I love my tacoma but if I wasnt driving it it would be a chevy/gmc 1500 or f150. I drove a gmc sierra denali before the tacoma and would look for the same if I sold the tacoma. Never had any trouble with it and it was the most comfortable truck for road trips and long drives, the bed is pretty spacious and wide, awd/4wd so you can tackle any bad weather, etc that might come at you, and having a big payload was nice knowing if you needed it you could tow a lot (we towed a boat at the time, but its gone now).

I would look at the tundra too but I dont have any experience with them, basically I would go half ton at the very least

My '99 is such a pleasure to drive. I imagine a newer one would be awesome.
