    Nothing yet, brand new!
Yep, it's that time of year again. Some will say it's the end of summer. I say it's one of the best times of the year. There is that smell in the air from the fall leaves accompanied with that morning chill that makes me smile.

Post up your favorite fall activities.

Mine is food. The Royal is upon us here in Cowtown. The party kicks of tomorrow. BBQ heaven! We have had several great car shows, Bikers for Babies, the Royal, the Renaissance festival.

Leaves are starting to turn in upstate SC. No better way to celebrate than move back to Louisiana! Doh!

The first day of fall it was over 100 here. Why couldn't summer be hot? It seemed like it was overcast and windy 90% of the time.

Aaaah, yes.... just a few things I like about this time of year.
    1) I can actually tinker around in my garage without having 14 fans blowing
    2) I can drop the mower deck down to a lower level and mow every other week
    3) I can cut way back on the sprinkler system program
    4) No more $450 electric bills for a while
    5) Archery season starts Saturday in Texas!
    6) Only a few more weeks of battling mosquitos
    7) It's not already 80 degrees and high humidity at dawn when I go for a run
    8) College football every Saturday!

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
Man well its hot out here. It hasn't rained in 6-7 months now. The worst thing about fall is that it means soon it'll be winter and in winter it tends to rain cats and dogs here until March or April before it just stops period. Its the opposite out here than it was in the South. Here winter means I don't have to water the lawn.

It's real nice down here in Arkansas, got all the windows open, sitting on the deck watching the last of the lightning bugs and listening to all the corvettes that have taken over this weekend ;)

The sounds, the smells, the feel of the wind rustling the fall leaves......I love it. Temperatures that justify jeans and a hoody...I love it.
    Halloween....I love it.
Knowing that pretty soon, I might need the 4WD....love it.

    I dig the fall.:)
