KBB is going to decrease the value of SUV and pickup!!

I guess the tacoma is going to be dirt cheap really soon!!

I doubt it. The tacoma is the gas friendly pickup. I think that we'll be seeing big price cuts on the full size trucks and SUVs.

Last month KBB trade in my truck was $16,999

    On Monday it was $16,200.

Kbb is only a guide to vehicle values. It is not set in stone. The true determiner in values come from the auction. Tacomas are doing fine but Tundras are doing horrible
    No worries about the tacoma!

    That's wonderful insight there.

As stated above, I doubt the Tacoma will go down in value much. For folks that need trucks, what other choices for fuel efficiency are there? The Colorado? Yikes.

We aren't Spain. You might as well say "I wonder what they're going to do with them when we're driving rocket ships to Mars?" because comparing our economy to Spain's is apples to oranges.

I went to KBB and they didn't have a value on a used 08 so I listed my 08 as an 07 and put in my options and it came out $1k less than I paid for the truck and does not include alarm and all weather mats!

I searched used vehicles and priced as private party (median price) w/ excel condition.

Not that it matters I plan to drive my taco till the wheels fall off (with any luck 300,000 maybe 400,000 miles?).:D

I saw a story on CNN yesterday where this guy was telling a reporter that because of high gas prices he was trying to sell his Tacoma and couldn't get it sold but look, my brother is also having trouble selling his house in Florida. I think it's just the general slowdown of the economy. The Tacoma is still an entry level truck as is the Nissan Frontier, for those of us who need a truck what else is there ? Right now I think trucks like the Tacoma will stand up in these rough times and sad to say but trucks like the Tundra, F150, etc. will fade away. Also no matter how high gas prices get, you will NEVER see me driving down the road in a Corolla !

Yeah, I put my 2000 Tacoma up on craigslist a few days ago and I've already got a handful of buyers. It will be sold in the next two days.

I checked KBB today and with the hard tonneau it is listing my truck as having a dealer retail higher than what I paid for it in July 06.

KBB on my truck is now $15,988.

    NADA, however, is $17,650.

I might be selling my Taco Tommorow. Waiting to hear back from a dealer if they are going to give me the deal I want.

Found a very good deal on a '07 Wrangler Sahara 4x4.

If this doesn't work out I think I'm just gonna save some money up for a new Taco 4x4.

Their economy is not like ours. They have a socialist economy with a very high tax rate, both income and other, that doesn't in any way compare to ours. If our gas were $7/gallon (it won't be), their gas would be $11-12/gallon.
