Yeah I usually hit the downcrests hard enough till I can barely hold onto the steering wheel then ride the hill up, it's an art driving these pigs fully loaded and geared up with big tires.

Yeah my wife hates driving the truck around town because it's all hills.....just trying to save up for gears. About to head to Hawk Pride Off Road park in Tuscambia, AL for an event and April and I'm not looking forward to all those miles in the truck now. I was quoted $1800 locally to change my gears.

Damn that's pricey unless that price includes a locker and a couple of ZJs. Best to call ECGS and swap them out yourself, plus you get a 5 year warranty.

Yes but do you get the joy of watching the fuel gauge move to E right after you fill it? ;)

I don't have any where to do it as it's my wife's DD and we live in apartments. How long would an install by myself take?

Yeah, I see 14-15 if I am driving in head wind and have to drop to 3rd to maintain 65. On average driving I see around 16- 18 and then when the stars allign and I drive down in elevation I see the 19ish - 20.

Keep in mind I drive at around 65mph on highways and don't race stop light to stop light.

I asked them if they would.. I guess they are not big on GB's since last one they said was a pain... id be all over it too, you have to remember that their price is pretty good considering they drop right in. Gears im ok buying local but at $913 for the front ARB its a bit costly! ECGS charges about $800 for the ARB but i think thats because rhey get to keep your diff that they can use as cores to resell as open diffs

If I get over 10 on the ARB group buy I will look for discount for gears for anyone needing gears but the list for now is just lockers
