That e30 . I've allways wanted one of those. I still remember driving by a BMW dealership as a kid drooling over an M3.

Mmmm nice!! I have been thinking about a new commuter lately. Highly considering a 135, m sport pckg. Such a fun lil rocket. Or maybe getting the wife a new daily and taking over her wagon...

    Twin turbo FTW!!!

540i was the fastest but hands down the e28 was my favorite.

    Fuck UPS!

Been watching TV on the couch for the last four hours and checking the tracking of a package about every hour. Then at 8:15PM online tracking says:

"The receiver was not available at the time of the first delivery attempt. A second attempt will be made."

I call UPS customer service. They tell me that an attempt was made at 8:00PM but they weren't able to drop it off. They then verified that the package did not need to be signed by the receiver. I then asked, "What happens if they run out of time in the night and don't get to every package?" They confirmed that, "They must attempt every package before they return to the main facility." I'm pretty sure the driver wanted to call it a night and just said that he "attempted" so that he can go back to home base. The CS rep said that there is no way to contact the driver, and that a supervisor will call me before 10AM tomorrow morning :goingcrazy:

Yuppp, I tattoo a few guys from all of them ups/fedex/usps they are always telling me how the drivers get lazy and just plain ignore packages sometimes and deliver it the next day... Drives me up a wall

Sucks because tomorrow I only have a small timeframe that I'll be home and I'm pretty sure Mr. short brown shorts guy will not be coming in that small window.

Has anyone ever had any success with demanding a package in, let's say a 2-hour window, after they F up like this? I'm pretty sure UPS will say hell no

I hate that you have no idea whether you're first on the route or last. Or that you even have to wait until 8pm. That said, the UPS dudes are often going down the street at 9PM-makes for a long day.

Oh, and I've had the "the receiver" bullshit before. Total cop out.

Have them deliver it to work. Or, hold it at the station and go get it-it's near Lawrence and 237 (more or less).

dude you think UPS is bad my local USPS is terrible they will scan the package so it says delivered if it's a 2 day rush guarantee item and do it 2-3 days later.

I ordered a knife that was shipped with tracking. The day it was to be delivered, it was marked as "delivered" even before the mail came. Four days later, it was delivered-I had to call them to ask where it was-they said it was sitting on a shelf as "undeliverable". Funny, they delivered within 15m of my call.

haha something like that happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Online tracking said delivered, then 2 hours later (close to 10PM) I finally get a knock on my door

I've missed UPS on a few occasions, and they will only let me pick it up at the main facility. I've asked to pick it up at a local UPS store and they said no. Either pick up that night or wait for delivery next day.

You can shuffle the delivery as long as it's not on the truck.

Those 1 series are wicked. A buddy of mine just managed to get one with 29k miles, 6 speed for 15k..... absolutely ridiculous deal. Thing rips though, just keeps pulling.
