so that the Tacoma will finally be the only truck in the household. Also fees up some $$$ for a few mods. Sliders, wheels and/or a small front level are on the short list. As is a set of weathertechs or similar floor mats.

Also washed the Tacoma, and found a small nick in the paint behind the rear door. Far enough back that it's where the cab starts to round in so not sure how a stone got kicked up there, maybe from another car. In any case, it's a truck, it's gonna happen.

Still need to get my bed LED set installed, maybe this weekend.

installed Blistein 5100 rears today, have to wait for assistance to get front adjustables installed due to arm surgery. installing rears with use of 1 arm was an adventure.

I think I know the answer to this, but since I'm not positive I'm gonna ask. what is that antenna to on the top of your cab? I just bought an 09 DC TRDS and I noticed it had that antenna. I thought it was XM, but where would the module be if it is?

2009-10 came with SAT radio (satellite radio). Before XM and siruis merged. Its part of your AM button. Push it once for AM, push it again for SAT (if satellite radio is activated on your truck).

Now its part of the XM radio and entune suite of apps and such

This is the exact video I used actually and it was a HUGE help but only when I put the bigger 885x coil In the lower control arm was too low to put the jack under it and the scissor jack kept sliding off when the lower went up changing the angle it would seat on the lower. So I used a ratchet strap from the lower to the top bucket and used it to help guide the top bolt of the shock through the shock tower til I could get the bottle jack under it and It actually worked very well. I recommend this tip to someone that was a similar problem when going from stock coils to longer ones... just make sure you don't have a shitty ratchet strap and as soon as you can fit the jack under it, use it and let tension off the strap and undo it and remove and continue compressing the coil spring and tightening the top nut as you go :)

May I ask why? Was it for the LED light alone?

In the '14 the XM was mounted underneath the factory radio. I'd venture to guess that it would be there somewhere close in the '09.

The shark-fin antenna on the roof is a housing for the GPS and SDARS antennas. Each antenna operates and receives different frequency signals.
