    I hardwired Matt's LED kit to my battery and discovered over the weekend just how energy efficient these light kits really are.
    I had turned my bed lights on around 8:00 am to look for something in the back of the bed, near my cab. I found it and then went on my way.
    My wife and I went out to dinner that night (in her vehicle) and when we returned around 10:30 pm I noticed that I had forgotten to turn off my bed lights from that morning (Nice glow from the driveway though).
    Obviously, and despite the fact that I have a new, "heavy duty" battery, I was pretty sure my battery would be near death. Nevertheless, the motor immediately started and I didnt run it for more than a minute.
    The next morning I checked the battery with my multimeter and it still registered a little over 12 volts.
    While I felt like a total dufas for leaving the bed lights on, :tinfoilhat: I was pretty impressed with how efficient these LED kits are :D

    on the first page photos, the one that shows the bottom of the rails, I need info regarding clearance of the oval drain holes in the rails.

    I have used the front and rear holes to mount a J hook to hold down a kayak rack. So, I wonder about clearance for the strip. I have a LB and am thinking a SB kit would work to give clearance and mounting room. Are the wires long enough on the SB kit to work on the LB? I want to mount the switch by the power outlet.
