Absolutely, and GM was bragging up that they had the same mass shipment ready to go based on presales to dealerships... so where the F did all of those Colorado's and Canyon's go? Or was GM just full of shit like usual lol.

I see what you mean I'd say that's a little different. The new F150 is a continuation of an already bad ass and proven truck. They've been on top for way longer than a decade. The GM twins are a total redesign of a vehicle that never sold well to begin with.

A local GM dealer is asking 37K for the new Colorado, typical BS 'dealer markup' because it's a new model. They have a new Silverado in the lot for 33K.

Whatever the reason, and I don't want to start a whole new discussion, but the dealers need to share a majority of the responsibility for the dismal sales numbers. These are the same dealers who sue to prevent Tesla from selling directly, because these crooked middle men need their cut. Fuck em

To me the Colorado is like the Cruze.I have a civic and everyone in that circle was saying how the Cruze would challenge the Civic.Still waiting.

You might not have to wait much longer. The sales figures from January (last month) are in.
Looks like the Civic outsold the Cruze by a whopping.....(wait for it)......(I lied in the first sentence, wait a little longer)......6 cars.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.

Any possible gain in horsepower above the tach redline and below the rev limiter is virtually unusable unless you are drag racing. A truck needs torque in low and midrange, where you normally operate.

That's why the Colorado rev's so high on the highway when passing or accelerating. They have the electronics in the transmission setup to get the most out of the CUV engine they decided to use in the truck. I have to admit, the setup actually works pretty well. I have no idea how long it'll hold up though if you kept stomping on it all the time.

I feel a prediction coming on...

GM is going to cancel production on the Colorado/Canyon after 2017, and after a 3 year hiatus bring them back as the S-10 and Sonoma.

I was next to a Sonoma the other day at a red light. Really put into perspective how much bigger things have gotten. My truck isn't obnoxious by any means--it's only lifted 2"--but that truck sure looked tiny next to mine.

    ^Truth be told.

The current Tacoma is every bit as big as the last gen Tundra.

I parked next to my sister in laws mid 80's S-10. My truck is massive compared to that.
